When I first started to publish the Molly and Daisy Adventure books they were to make reading and learning to write fun for children.  The came along Pirates Cove which was so different from the first two books.  In Pirates Cove I had the opportunity to have fun and explore writing a story that was a little more complex and challenging.

Pirates Cove does not have the same learning opportunities to write and colour.

The idea of the companion books was born.

They follow the story in the main book and have activities that are related to each chapter.  There are colouring pages, writing exercises and you can even learn how to make an edible pink octopus.
